p>This year, we have invited three UK writers to present their work at the Hay Festival Cartagena de Indias 2017, Hisham Matar, Philippe Sands and Misha Glenny. Our presence at the Festival is complemented with the delivery of our literature programme Elipsis, which this podcast focusses on.
About Elipsis
The Elipsis programme is a development opportunity for emerging writers and literary editors. Participants are nominated by professors at Colombian universities. The programme launches with an opportunity for the talented students to visit Hay Festival Cartagena de Indias, where this podcats was recorded, to attend bespoke workshops and events.
During the programme, the aspiring writers are paired with aspiring editors. Over the course of the year they work together, meeting again in April at the Bogotá Book Fair (FILBO). The programme culminates with the publication of a book containing all their work as writers and editors.
