On 24-28 January 2013 Ahdaf Soueif and John Burnside will take part in panel discussions with Indian writers on a selection of the EWWC conference themes.

The Edinburgh World Writers’ Conference will come to India at the DSC Jaipur Literature Festival, the largest literary festival in the Asia-Pacific region. At Jaipur, Ahdaf Soueif and John Burnside, both participants in the inaugural EWWC events in Edinburgh, will echo the themes of the 1962 Conference and raise some vital questions discussed in 2012.

The above events will take place at the Diggi Palace, Jaipur. The UK writers will also be appearing at the Literary Café from 2:30pm – 4:30pm at the British Council Library Lounge within the Festival premises in Jaipur.
