Following the brilliant reception of Craig Taylor's new book 'Londoners', Craig is out in India speaking about the tales of two cities: London and Kolkata, with local authors and young writers.

At the Kolkata Book Fair (26 Jan - 6 Feb) Craig discussed the landscape and stories of cities like his adopted hometown London in stark contrast to his new environs of India.

Craig launched the project 'After Dickens', a creative writing competition for young Indian writers to respond to Dickens in their own way, and engage with panel discussions on the subject of setting. For more information see British Council India.

There was also creative writing workshops in Chennai for local audiences to discuss 'Londoners' with the author, and after that Craig discussed his work with local writers in Mumbai where he considered the place of the city in writing.
