One of the largest literature festivals in the Asia-Pacific region, Jaipur is entering its fifth year. The festival is an established event on the literary calendar and boasts a broad range of artists and events.
With readings, talks, debates, performances, children’s workshops and interactive activities the Jaipur Literature festival invites participants from all over the world to perform to local and international audiences.
A photo above shows the British Council reading room at Jaipur. The contents of our library in Delhi have been transported to Jaipur and books in the reading room can borrowed during the festival, where people can sign up for online for membership and enjoy a book in between events.
