Once again the British Council is working with Hay Festival Cartagena to bring brilliant British writing to the seventh edition of the Colombian celebration of dialogue.

Taking in literature as well as visual arts, cinema, music, journalism and the environment, this year's festival promises to be as vibrant and thought provoking as ever, with Marcus du Sautoy, Ben Okri, Andrew Davies, Jon Gower and Tiffany Murray among those travelling to Cartagena de Indias over the coming days to discuss their writing.
