Novelists D J Taylor and Roshi Fernando spoke to audiences at the Galle Literature Festival this weekend, covering topics from Victorian characters in Dickens to new Sri-Lankan writing from the diaspora, as they made a name for themselves in Sri Lanka's fourth largest city.

The Galle Literature Festival was marked by five literature-packed days and a medley of literary events from all over the world.
